6:41 am	Max Our miniature dachshund Max died this last week. He was about one week away from being 16 years old. He had a good life, and healthy until about the last several months of his life. Retirement in Baja suited him just fine. Get another dog? Not now. We're getting close to the time when we travel for three months to the US, and a new, untrained dog would not be a good option for us right now. So, I'll pet other people's dogs, and enjoy pictures of other dachshunds (and Max) for a while. 5:02 pm	Spelling words correctly online is the pits So there it is... my first journal entry .... and I can't spell "happily". Duh. Well, anyhow, Happy Birthday to me. It's a perfect day here in Baja. About 80 degrees, sunshine, gentle breeze, and planting new flowers! I love it.
